Data collected
When you send a request through the order form, we collect:
- your contact details: first name, last name, email address, postal address and, where applicable, your chosen pick-up point;
- details of your order: size, finish, name of your pet, photos of your pet, free-text message, gift card code, delivery method and insurance request;
- your choice regarding the portrait being shared on social media.
If you write directly by email, only the information contained in your message is processed.
This site uses no audience measurement tools and no advertising cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
- Handling your request and fulfilling your order (correspondence, quote, creation, shipping): pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract.
- Protecting the form against automated submissions (spam): legitimate interest; for the use of Google reCAPTCHA, your consent.
- Sharing the making-of and the finished portrait on social media: your consent, given via the checkbox in the form and which you can withdraw at any time by email.
- Meeting accounting obligations when a sale is made: legal obligation.
Recipients and service providers
Your data is intended for Shana Verro only. It is never sold or transferred. It passes through the following technical service providers:
- Microsoft Azure (Ireland): website hosting and form processing;
- Brevo (France): sending request and confirmation emails;
- Google: Gmail inbox receiving requests, reCAPTCHA spam protection and Google Fonts typefaces;
- La Poste / Colissimo: your name and address, to ship your order;
- Stripe or PayPal: only if online payment is offered to you.
Google may process some data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Google reCAPTCHA and fonts
The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses technical information (IP address, browser, interactions with the page) and may set cookies, in order to tell humans and bots apart. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
reCAPTCHA is only loaded with your consent, given via the banner shown on your first visit. If you refuse, no Google cookies are set and the form still works. Your choice is kept for 6 months in your browser's local storage; you can change it at any time using the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the home page.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
During an online payment, your order is temporarily kept in your browser's local storage, then deleted once the payment is confirmed or cancelled.
Retention periods
- Requests not followed by an order: 3 years from the last contact.
- Orders: for the duration of the business relationship, then 10 years for accounting records (legal obligation).
- Photos of your pet: for as long as it takes to create the portrait and discuss it with you, then no more than 3 years after the last contact.
